This is sure to be a controversial movie because it sees Brexit and the GOP Presidential campaign involvement with Cambridge Analytica as a sinister. Using nearly military-grade level of psychological warfare against an unsuspecting public.
In fact, The Great Hack also highlights how large groups of people can easily be led to vote against their own interests.
6. The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019)
#6 on our movies for 2019 list started life as a Kickstarter campaign. The Last Black Man in San Francisco is a 2019 drama directed and produced by Joe Talbot (his directorial debut).
The story by Jimmie Fails and Joe Talbot also stars Danny Glover, Tichina Arnold, Mike Epps, Rob Morgan, Jonathan Majors, and Finn Wittrock. Its plot centers on the efforts of a black man, Jimmie, to reclaim his childhood home in a now gentrified area.

As a result, greed and class discrimination threaten the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the well-to-do Park family and the impoverished Kim clan. This Oscar movie for best picture recipient fully deserved the coveted award.
